The Death of Clayton Lockett from a Soul Perspective

Since last week, many people have sent me emails and messages asking what guidance our Angels have to offer about the Clayton Lockett execution. Initially, I thought it best to remain neutral. I have so many friends and loved ones who have a lot of emotions around these issues. I have a family member who died because of the actions of another (DUI) and I have many friends who had family or friends murdered. That is such a deep and raw pain and I want to remain sensitive to that pain. On the other side of the spectrum, I have many friends who adamantly oppose the death penalty.

The most important thing for all of us to remember is Stephanie Neiman. Let us fill our hearts with love when we think of Stephanie. Let us envision her in heaven, fully healed and peaceful. After we see Stephanie in God’s Light, let us send that same loving energy of peace to her parents. Let us pray peace and healing for Stephanie’s parents as well. My prayer is that everyone who felt the loss of Stephanie Neiman receive healing, love and grace. The fact that so many of Stephanie’s family, friends, and neighbors have been so vocal about keeping the attention on her, instead of on Lockett, tells us just how many hearts and lives Stephanie touched during her time on earth. And that, my friends, is beautiful. Stephanie Neiman touched the souls of so many people and for that, we can know that she has earned her Angel Wings in heaven.

I honor the beauty of Stephanie Neiman and her brief, but life changing, time here on earth. This world is a better place for having been blessed with Stephanie.

The Question that most people have asked me is this: Was Clayton Lockett’s death his karma?

The short answer: Yes.

The longer answer is a bit more complicated.

The human part of Clayton Lockett was violent and dangerous, even so, he still has a soul that is part of all of our collective consciousness. All of us are part of the collective consciousness – no one is exempt. So from a soul perspective, with Clayton Lockett was still a part of God Energy. Clearly, that seed of God was tiny, silent and shoved into the darkest and most lonely part of his being, and a deeply fractured and troubled human self was making all the decisions in his life.

Was Clayton Lockett a monster? Regarding this one incarnation, Absolutely. Clayton Lockett was a vicious monster during his time here on earth. And from karmic standpoint, Clayton Lockett vibrated with pure violence and suffering, and that vibration is what led to the circumstances around his death.

I know we are all familiar with the saying “Karma’s a Bitch” and I saw that same phrase dozens of times on social media when describing Lockett’s death. Karma is never about punishment. Karma is merely your own vibration attracting situations, people and experiences that are in alignment with your energetic alignment. Clayton Lockett’s own vibration is responsible for the conditions around his death.

Should we pray for Lockett?

Absolutely!

Clayton Lockett was so disconnected from God’s Light that his vibration could not support health, love or compassion, and as part of the collective consciousness, his vibration affects us all.  We can only raise our collective vibration as quickly as the lowest vibration beings can ascend. The sooner individuals like Clayton Lockett can align with love and peace, the sooner we will have love and peace on earth.

It is this vision of a healthy, compassionate and loving earth that inspires us to continue on our own individual paths of healing and empowerment. And from the Angels’ perspective, this ascended earth and people can only happen when no one vibrates or aligns with violence or suffering. And in order to create this plane of peace, we must be willing to surrender our feelings and actions of harming anyone, and yes, this does include capital punishment.

No one has the right to kill another. Capital punishment does not fix anything. It will not bring back the victim. It will not provide peace or love. It is merely a vengeance energy. It is a fundamental low vibration action that attracts more violence.

Capital punishment is institutionalized violence, and we can never have lasting peace on earth as long as our leadership engages in capital punishment. We must look for and find better ways of creating peaceful communities.

Violence attracts and creates violence. Whereas Peace inspires peace.

So what should have happened to Clayton Lockett? Clayton Lockett’s actions clearly communicated that he was a risk to humanity, and he deserved to spend the rest of his life separated from all others.

Did Lockett deserve the suffering around his death?

Honestly, this one is hard for me to answer. From a soul perspective, no one deserves to suffer because anyone’s suffering only creates more of the same.

From a karmic perspective, yes. He was literally just receiving the same energy he had been putting out.

Do I feel badly for him?

Yes and No.

At one point in his lifetime, Clayton Lockett was an innocent little baby. He resonated pure love and joy as all of us do when we first come to earth. Lockett also has a mother and family members who are most certainly feeling a great deal of pain and guilt.

I feel badly for Lockett and the loss of who he could have been in this lifetime. I feel badly that the innocent baby he once was grew into a man capable of such monstrous acts. And I feel badly that his life was one that he created such a painful and agonizing death.

But do I feel badly for the way he died? Yes. I don’t want anyone to suffer.  It was a brutal death, but his karma created this conditions of his exit based on the suffering he inflicted on Stephanie Neiman.  I honor the karmic path, soul lessons and soul contracts of Clayton Lockett and I support his need to live and die according to his own vibration and actions.

Even so – I cannot support the death penalty. Killing creates and maintains a vibration of violence and for the sake of all humanity, I choose to align with peace, love, joy, health and wellness.

Is this Karmic explanation oversimplified?

Yes! Absolutely! Karma is only part of the picture. Our lives are determined by much more than just our karma. When we incarnate, we choose Soul Lessons, Soul Contracts, Soul Purpose and other Soul “Stuff” that influences our path here on earth.

So even though the conditions around Lockett’s death were karmic, that doesn’t mean that all life conditions are karmic. (Here is where the Buddhists and I disagree!)  I don’t believe Stephanie’s death was karmic. This young sweet girl could never have accumulated such violence in her karma in this lifetime. Sometimes, someone is just an earth angel here on earth for a brief period of time. I don’t want to speculate or try to determine how Stephanie’s path ended up crossing with Locketts’ because I want to be respectful to her grieving family but if they were to ask me for an explanation, I would try to give them as many answers as I could.

The thing that we should all take from the Clayton Lockett execution is this: We have work to do. We still have violence in our collective consciousness, and we need to each work on our own soul stuff to move forward into peace. We should pray for Locketts’ family – for their healing.

And let us remember the family and friends of Stephanie Neiman. Let us include Stephanie’s family and friends in our thoughts and prayers and let us move toward a peaceful world so no one every has to feel that type of loss again.

With Light and Love
