Many Spiritual Beliefs for prosperity and wellness include the practice of tithing.

According to Edwene Gaines in The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity, your path to prosperity must include Tithing – a financial blessing to person, place or institution where you have received your spiritual food. Tithing isn’t always made to a church or ministry. A tithe could be made to the server at your favorite restaurant where she took excellent care of you while you were having a bad day. Tithing is merely one’s gratitude for the spiritual blessings and nourishment one receives from the universe.
